Entry fee £15.00 per individual fencer.  Fencers may compete in one weapon only. 

There will be a limit of 30 fencers for each weapon.  When the maximum of 30 fencers has been reached in either weapon then no further entries for that weapon will be accepted. Entries may be accepted on the day of the competition if the entry list is incomplete.

Notes:- The format of the competition will be poule unique. Both Epee & Sabre events will be mixed men & women.  All fencers will fence to 5 hits, subject to change depending on numbers, against every other fencer in their weapon.  Maximum of 30 entrants per weapon.  If there are 30 fencers then each individual will fence 29 x 5 hit fights.  At the end of the competition, the results will be tallied so as to determine the winner.

Prizes for 1st, 2nd, 3rd places, best cadet & best veteran.  Only 1 prize per person.  All fights will be self-refereed.

Closing date for entries: 16th May 2009. Late entries at organiser’s discretion.

While it may be possible for fencers to compete in all three weapons, this cannot be guaranteed — a decision will be made once entry numbers are known so fencers should indicate if they wish to fence all 3. 
BFA membership cards must be shown at check-in. An 800N plastron is essential, all other equipment to conform with current BFA regulations, including long socks and 350N breeches.  FENCERS MUST BE OVER 13 YEARS AT 1 JAN 2009 TO ENTER.

The format of the competition will be one round of poules followed by Direct Elimination to a final four. The competition will be run in accordance with BFA rules at the organiser’s discretion.
