A Senior and Junior beginner’s course takes place every October. This course runs for eight weeks and each session lasts for one and a half to two hours.

Seniors start at 8.30pm. For the first week; the following week begins at 8pm, giving an opportunity to fence for half an hour before the class lesson at 8.30, the cost of the adult course is £40.

Junior beginner’s course starts at 7pm every week – juniors are accepted from the age of 8 yrs.
The cost of the junior course is £30.

Beginners evenings take place the last Tuesday in every month, these consist of a 45 minute introductory lesson the first week and in following weeks a 20 minute lesson followed by fencing bouts.

Trafford Sword Club welcomes everyone from 8yrs to 88yrs to their Fencing Salle – whether you are a beginner wishing to learn the sport or a fencer who wants to return after an absence (no matter how long).

All fencing equipment is provided by the club but you will need; basic sports wear, track suit bottoms, T-shirt and training shoes.
